The support from the former Golden State Warriors athlete was by wearing a football jersey with the number 7 on the front to a 2019 regular-season game. It was a unique all-black jersey with a definitive message, “I’m With Kap.“, invoking praise from Kaepernick on social media.

The latter took to Twitter stating, “Thank you to my Brother [Kevin Durant]  for rockin with me, especially this week!

Another huge morale boost came courtesy of ‘King’ James, who was pictured wearing an all-black hoodie with the number 7 on the front.

While it didn’t contain any message like Durant, James has been vocal in his support of Kaepernick. He was praising him for standing up for his beliefs. Kap, after noticing James and his actions on Twitter, was posting the pictures while captioning them with fire emojis.
