The Washington Post covered the 1957 Jerry Jones story showing the Cowboys owner in a terrible light. It showed Jones as a 15-year-old in a desegregation protest at his North Little Rock High School in Arkansas. However, there was little or no media coverage around it compared to the Kyrie Irving suspension situation.
NBA legend and 4x Champion LeBron James recently brought up the question of the media bias towards the black community. “I was wondering why I haven’t gotten a question from you guys about the Jerry Jones photo,” LeBron James asked the reporters in a recent presser.
And on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football simulcast with The Shop, LeBron gave an explanation for his interrogation of the press. “I’m just holding them accountable, letting them know ‘I see you,’” the former Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers champion said.

According to LeBron, the photo showing 15-year-old Jerry Jones and the white students denying entry to six black students deserves more attention. Especially when compared to the attention black athletes receive for their every action.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones provided an explanation for the photo and simply nudged it off as high school curiosity. Jones said that he had no idea what was happening and simply wanted to gain information. However, while LeBron James went hard on Jerry Jones, many in the NFL world, including Stephen A. Smith and Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, agree with Jerry Jones and think the story has been blown way out of proportion.

LeBron James is not going to shy away from saying what he feels like. “I’m definitely woke. That’s for sure,” LBJ said. The Los Angeles Lakers seemed to have regained some form after a rough start to the season. LeBron and Anthony Davis coming back together have helped them regain the lost momentum. The Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, are 9-3 and face the Houston Texans next.
