The Pivot podcast is one of the most popular shows, run by NFL veterans Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, and Ryan Clark. Recently the trio was under the radar of netizens for making bold statements on singer Ciara Wilson’s marriage with Russell Wilson. Per reports, Crowder, who also played linebacker for the Dolphins, claimed that Ciara wanted a man with brains, and the reason why she is with her husband is for the money and fame.

“Russell and Ciara, if Russ doesn’t have the bread, Ciara is not gonna be with him. She has a good situation, but you gonna leave Future and get with Russell Wilson, you don’t leave Future and get Russell Wilson.” Crowder said on the show.

These comments took no time to grab the attention of fans, who started grilling him online. But the recent episode alongside Shaq seems to have mitigated those effects.

“Look, we don’t need to talk about what I was doing, but I wasn’t protecting her and protecting those vows. Sometimes when you live that double life, you get caught up. So I’m not gonna say it was her, it was all me,” he continued. “She did exactly what she was supposed to do — gave me beautiful kids, take care of the house, takes care of corporate stuff. It was just all me. Sometimes when you make a lot of mistakes like that you can’t really come back.” he added to the explanation. The duo share four children from their marriage.
