The challenge between champions
While Mahomes has been a seasoned pro in football, he remains a novice at golf. However, that hasn’t stopped him and Travis Kelce from throwing down the gauntlet against the NBA champions, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. They are set to try their hands at golf in the 8th edition of the Match on 29th June. As per CBS Sports, they’ll be facing off against each other in a 12-hole exhibition in Las Vegas. While Curry and Mahomes have prior experience, they’ll be the guides for their teammates who are making their Match debuts.
While the respective players are huge champions in their sports, they aren’t pros at golf. It only remains to be seen who will win in this face-off: The Super Bowl champions or consecutive NBA champions.
