During the third round of the playoffs, Larson tried a three-wide pass and caught up with Wallace, who didn’t give him any room to move ahead. Subsequently, Larson’s Chevrolet slightly shoved Wallace’s Toyota on Lap 94 towards the wall. Although he didn’t lose much control, Wallace came back to retaliate. He bounced back with a deliberate hook at his counterpart.

This led both the machines to spin continuously for a couple of meters ahead. Soon, Wallace climbed out of his car and approached Larson, eventually shoving him. He tried to defend himself by lifting his arms, but Wallace looked pretty fumed, and later a safety worker separated both of them.
