According to a source, The Kraft Group had agreed to invest in the WME-IMG bid to purchase UFC, and the Patriots confirmed to CSNNE.com that indeed the Kraft Group, founded by Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft, was an investor in the group that made the purchase.

The rising popularity of the UFC attracted investors to help the WME-IMG in buying. Robert Kraft once again showed that he doesn’t shy away from spending money where it will help to get fruitful returns. It is why he has been one of the very best in his field.
