During a FOX Sports broadcast, Alex Rodriguez recalls telling a teenage Patrick Mahomes, now a $500 Million+ man, to pursue baseball. MLB’s A-Rod used to play baseball with Pat Mahomes, the father of the Chiefs’ standout QB. He most likely desired to witness the Mahomes lineage dominating the MLB.

Alex Rodriguez mentions, “I’m a little biased here, coz I grew up watching the young Patrick Mahomes Jr. putting balls on the tee for me coz I played it with his father, Pat Mahomes Sr., and he was incredible. I did give him some great advice. I thought I said, ‘Patrick, don’t play football, the money’s in baseball, baby.’ Thank God Patrick didn’t listen to me. He didn’t then, he doesn’t now. Don’t ever listen to me, Patrick.”
