Billionaire Jerry Jones, who is also the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, recently talked about the New York Yankees’ outfielder Aaron Judge’s record-breaking 62nd home run. According to reports, that home run ball is worth around $2 million.

Certainly, Jones is not lacking money; so, when asked what he would do with the 62nd home run ball if he had caught it, he gave an interesting answer. It is also worth mentioning that one fan caught the ball, but he was not so sure what to do with the ball.

In a recent interview, Jones said, I think I’d like [Aaron Judge] to have it, the player, at the end of the day. Now, if I didn’t have any money … so it’s all relative.

“Let’s be real a little bit here. Your personality, your charitability, that will change on you when you’re broke,” Jones further added. Jerry Jones’ net worth is around $15 billion; certainly, he doesn’t lack money.

Meanwhile, a fan named Corey Youmans caught the ball, and he was going to get the ball authenticated. When asked about what he would do with the ball, he said he hasn’t figured that out yet. According to reports, he was not an ordinary fan, as he is the vice president of Fisher Investments.

This giant money management company manages around $197 billion worldwide. Safe to say, Youmans probably won’t need the money as well. On the other hand, Judge broke another Yankee legend, Roger Maris’ record of 61 home runs in a regular season, which he set back in 1961. Undoubtedly, this was a massive achievement for the champion player, as he will most likely get the MVP award as well.

Meanwhile, Jones’ team, the Dallas Cowboys, is on a roll as they won yet another game on Sunday against the Rams. After losing to the Bucs in their opening game, they won 4 consecutive games and currently sitting second behind the Eagles in the NFC East.
