And since then, the QB has been reaping the reward for his brilliant win. He has been enjoying his off-season with a summer of well-deserved revelry. And his revelry involves having the time of his life playing other sports. Interestingly, one of them is baseball.

He recently went on to play at the home field of the Kansas City Royals. He had quite an enjoyable game of softball wherein he showcased his superior baseball skills. After his display of skills at Kauffmann Stadium, he even took to Twitter to endorse his hometown team, the Kansas Royals.

The QB has a lot of love for Kansas City and that has extended beyond just football. He has a lot of love for all teams of the city and the sport his father played is no exception. Therefore, in the spirit of supporting baseball in Kansas, Mahomes took to Twitter to give a huge shoutout to the Royals and even invited everyone to the stadium to show them support for Monday Night Baseball.

Interestingly, Mahomes himself has been involved in baseball for quite some time. Additionally, Mahomes himself was a highly touted baseball pitcher up until college. He even got picked by the Detroit Tigers in the 37th round.

In a historic edition of the Match, Mahomes, along with Kelce, is ready to face off against two of the most iconic basketball players in the NBA. The KC Chiefs duo is ready to go up against the Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson. Their game in the Match will be the first-ever NFL vs NBA edition.

All in all, Mahomes has been making the most of his off-season, practicing hard as well as playing different sports. It only remains to be seen what other sport the QB is yet to try during the off-season.
