It’s been a while since we’ve seen the name of Antonio Brown being associated with Caitlin Clark, but since he is the prince of controversy, nobody’s surprised to see him stirring the pot yet again. He piled on more inappropriate jokes after the first joke he made, which resulted in the WNBA star blocking him on X.

Caitlin Clark, the WNBA rookie sensation and the all-time scoring leader won’t be a part of the U.S. national team at the Paris Olympics, in what is a total shocker for the world of basketball. The team will include the likes of Phoenix Mercury, Brittney Griner, A’ja Wilson, and Breanna Stewart but not the former Iowa Hawkeyes player. This baited Brown to resurface with yet another crude comment towards the basketball player, which the fans are not receiving very well.

On June 8th, reports stated that Team USA would not include Caitlin Clark on the Women’s Basketball roster for the Summer Olympics. Even though fans have termed her the face of the WNBA, her exclusion from the team shocked many. Additionally, the WNBA named her the rookie of the month for May despite her not having the smoothest time in the league until now.

AB’s tweet in response to Clark’s absence from the national team was yet another of the inappropriate comments that he’s targeted the basketball star for so long. He wrote, “Busch League #CTESPN“, in an attempt to mock Clark. His comment is ironic since the term ‘bush league’ refers to mediocre quality or second-rate. With all that said, here’s what four-time Olympic gold medalist Lisa Leslie had to say about the national team not potentially adding her to the squad.

An eight-time All-Star and two-time world champion had fierce words to say about the player for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA.The team excluded Clark despite her coming off the best game of her pro career, where she scored 30 points and made 7 3-pointers in the game against the Washington Mystics on June 7th.

In an interview with Sporting News in April, Leslie talked about how Clark should “one hundred percent” be a part of the Team USA squad. She said, “I don’t know how you leave the country without her.” Unfortunately, Leslie’s worst dreams have come true as Clark will do nothing but look on as other players don the national jersey at the Olympics this year.
