Wake Up Call Served to A’ja Wilson & Co. by Tom Brady Despite Aces’ Thunderous Win Over Liberty in WNBA Finals

There’s still hunger and passion left inside the legendary former QB to enlarge his trophy cabinet. As a minority investor for WNBA team Las Vegas Aces, Tom Brady gave a wake-up call to Aces’ A’ja Wilson and teammates in a bid to continue with the wins in the championship finals.

Aces played great against their formidable opposition New York Liberty, but the match was much closer than expected. Given the small margin of error and with talented players on both sides, the Aces chalked out a hardworking win of 99 points over Liberty’s 82. Brady’s mentality was at the forefront as he later shared a message to his team and shared his insights through an Instagram story.

The Las Vegas Aces gave a thorough beating to their opposition team Liberty, and Brady while congratulating, didn’t hesitate to show them the mirror. Leaving no room for complacency, the former Bucs player gave a wake-up call. He took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of the final scorecard from game 1. He wrote on his social media story saying “1 down! Don’t let up @lvaces!” 

Both the teams are eyeing for the championship win as they compete in a five-match series. With the Aces making a statement in the first game recently, Brady advised his team to continue the same in forthcoming matches. He was wary of Aces slipping up and hence reminded them it was just the first game. Tom also tagged Jackie Young on the same story as she accounted for a spellbinding performance with 26 points. After making things official with the retired QB, Brady also watched the game from close quarters.

The new stake owner of Las Vegas Aces attended the game and watched the Aces victory from the courtside. Apart from engaging in banter with Aces’ guard Kelsey Plum.

She along with the entire side was jubilant as the sporting icon was present in the spectator capacity. Brady is someone who understands the importance of showing up and mentoring his teammates whenever necessary. Though not a part of the playing team, Tom is relishing his new role as a minority owner. He is also keeping active regarding the results and with other games to follow in the 5-match finale series, Brady is hoping that the team stays on the right track.

Tom Brady does know a thing or two when it comes to winning championships. So when he advised his players to stay calm and collected, he spoke from experience. Brady is donning the dual role of an owner and perhaps as a mentor, guiding the young players to not drift away after just one game.
