With each passing day, Controversy King Antonio Brown is seemingly getting obsessed with Caitlin Clark. The WNBA rookie has recently taken the top place in Brown’s list of favorites after an array of attacks and counterattacks. Clark’s debut as a professional player did not go as well as expected. The Indiana Fever fell 92-71 to the Connecticut Sun. However, this did not stop Brown from praise-bombing the rookie.

But what caught attention was Brown’s tweet, which hints at his presence. Is the change in Brown’s perspective about Clark because she turned into his daughter’s idol?

Despite Clark’s brief rise to the top during the May 15 match, where she failed to score and was benched for two personal fouls, Brown’s admiration for her remains unwavering. In his latest tweet, AB wrote, “Congrats to @CaitlinClark22 on her 1st WNBA game on.” But in a twist that’s become all too familiar, Brown added a touch of suspense here as well.

In the caption, he wrote, “Who will spot it in the picture? #CTESPN.” It was then the fans started scouting through the posted picture that showed Clark turning her back, engrossed in signing autographs for the fans after the game. While the background is hazy, few fans did spot Brown on the stands. Even if AB paid a visit on Monday’s match, it would not be a surprise since Brown attended Clark’s WNBA debut a few days ago.

Brown’s daughter instills within him a love for Clark

On May 4, Clark created a rage on the basketball court. Brown shared footage as the basketball phenom got mobbed by die-hard fans. Posting a tweet of the video, a mesmerized AB wrote, “Respect @CaitlinClark22 Got a @IndianaFever fan here #CTESPN.” This unexpected show of support from the NFL legend is a new development for fans to digest, given his history of crossing boundaries with Clark.

The latest attack from the ex-Pittsburgh Steelers star came on May 14, as he learned that the Indiana Fever was flying on its first charter of the season. AB could not let go of this opportunity and posted an edited picture of a flight with curly hair that resembled that of a WNBA rookie. This unexpected show of NFL legend’s support has intrigued fans, eager to uncover the reason behind his occasional positivity toward Clark.

In no way is Brown going to be a villain to his daughter, who looks up to Clark and every game of her. Drawing inspiration from his daughter, AB has evolved to be Clark’s biggest fan, adhering to the big motive of breaking the ice created as a result of past encounters.
