Once a hero on the field for the Buffalo Bills, now finds himself embroiled in scandal. Legendary WR Eric Moulds is currently under fire. Moulds’s alleged behavior is now the center of a legal battle, tarnishing his reputation. But what’s the full story?

A Western NY woman had accused him of knowingly spreading an incurable sexually transmitted disease, herpes allegedly. The lawsuit details allegations that paint a troubling picture, with claims of deception, neglect, and emotional harm. According to the lawsuit, the former WR was “sued by several women for knowingly spreading herpes over a decade ago.”

The plaintiff filed the lawsuit in New York State Superior Court. She accused Moulds of infecting the woman in question and several other women. He allegedly infected them with the herpes simplex virus Type 2. The unnamed woman claims she had no prior sexual partners, and only discovered Moulds’ condition after being contacted by his pregnant fiancée in December 2023.

However, Moulds’ attorney, Frank LoTempio III, has denied the accusations, calling them “false.” He promised a vigorous defense. Hinting at a lengthy legal battle ahead. “We are in the process of gathering information/evidence and will be responding to the complaint, which we will vigorously defend,” LoTempio stated to Newsweek.

According to the lawsuit, Moulds “targeted single mothers who were Buffalo Bills fans.” Their relationship reportedly began in 2019 through Instagram. And it escalated into a long-term sexual relationship in early 2023. The woman alleges that Moulds even offered an ‘all-expenses-paid’ trip to North Carolina in January 2023. And engaged in unprotected sexual relations with her and others.

The woman claims Moulds failed to disclose his condition, even during these unprotected encounters. She first experienced symptoms in December 2023 and later tested positive for the disease. The allegations also mention prior lawsuits from women with similar accusations against Moulds.
