Peyton Manning – what can we talk about him? He’s one of those athletes whose name doesn’t just ring a bell—it echoes through the halls of NFL greatness. His success can be recognized by many names that he earned throughout his career. The Sheriff, a member of Manning Football Dynasty, a two-time Super Bowl champion for two different franchises, and on and on. They say, “The quarterback is the coach on the field.” Manning literally lived up to that saying.

But off the field? Well, the NFL legend made time for the fans, the media, and his family, especially his kids. Speaking of which, after winning the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in 2016, Manning retired to become a full-time family man. Now, Peyton’s family is a bit more low-key than his flashy career, but there’s a lot to know about the Manning kids—twins, to be specific.

Let’s kick things off with Peyton’s son, Marshall Williams Manning. Now, if you’re picturing little Marshall, wearing a tiny Colts jersey or Broncos colors, maybe tossing a football around with his dad—yeah, you’re not wrong. After being married for a decade, Manning and his wife, Ashley, welcomed their son in March 2011. But hold up, this kid’s a little different than you might expect.

Even though his dad had played for 18 seasons with the Colts and Broncos and is widely considered one of the greatest QBs of the league, Marshall’s got a thing for the competition. Believe it or not, he’s a huge fan of the Chiefs‘ star QB, Patrick Mahomes. Yep, that’s true. After all, Manning himself confirmed it during his appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2021. “It’s very humbling having to ski with a Chiefs jersey right next to you, but since I’m related to the kid, I feel like I have to do it,” Manning said.

But that’s not all. Marshall’s football jersey of choice for his flag football games? Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. Pretty wild, right? But it is what it is. Now, it’s pretty safe to say that little Manning has his own taste when it comes to the quarterbacks. And for Manning? We can say he couldn’t be any prouder considering his son is on the same road where he is known as the legend.

Who is Manning’s daughter?

Now, let’s switch our attention to Manning’s daughter and Marshall’s twin sister, Mosley Thompson Manning. If you’re thinking little Marshall is the only sports fan in the Manning household—think again. Because Mosley’s got a serious love for the game too. Back in 2016, when Peyton Manning was gearing up for his last game at Super Bowl 50, Mosley was already showing an interest in her dad’s career. Add a Super Bowl win in his last game and dad Manning was all in for a special shout-out from her little daughter.

“A week before the Super Bowl, our daughter Mosley asked me, ‘Daddy, is this the last game?’ ‘Yes, Mosley, it’s the last game of the season.’ ‘I sure do want you to win that trophy.’ ‘I do, too, Mosley. And that’s what we’re going to try to do,’ ” Manning said. Now let’s be real. A 5-year-old kid is talking not just about her dad’s last game of the season but of his entire career. That’s some serious insight, right?

But, here’s the kicker. No doubt, just like her brother, Mosley is also into football, but the funny thing is, she has chosen a different path. It sounds a bit odd, but it is what it is. Now 14-year-old daughter of Manning is into certain sports, including softball, volleyball, and tennis. Talk about a pure athletic talent. However, we still have to wait a bit longer to find out her professional career but one thing’s for sure.

After retiring from pro football, Peyton Manning is playing the greatest role in his post-retirement life. What’s that you’re wondering? Well, it’s supporting his son’s favorite team and taking his daughter to practice sessions and games. A great role for one of the greatest QB of the league.
