Will Tom Brady's broadcast debut be as legendary as his NFL career? Who should join him in the booth?

Tom Brady will be back in Week 3! Obviously, not as a player, despite the ongoing rumors that Brady is coming back onto the field to quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. As Barry Jackson mentioned, “For those who have asked, the Dolphins did NOT reach out to Tom Brady’s representation after Tua’s injury. Brady, 47, is now broadcasting for Fox, as most of you know.” So, as he is coming back after two weeks of announcing for FOX, fans are eager to know which game he is going to announce for this week.

So, the answer to this is – According to the Athletic Senior Writer, Andrew Marchand, Tom Brady will be commentating over a matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. The same Ravens, with which Brady has a personal playing record of 8-5 in the regular season and 2-2 in the playoffs. As he is coming back for the announcing purpose with these two teams, this time, he will be accompanied by co-announcers, Kevin Burkhardt, Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi, and Mike Pereira.

Now, it’s important to note that this will be his third time covering the broadcast. In addition to that, interestingly, it will be his third time covering for the Cowboys as well. In his last two-game coverage, Brady covered for the Cowboys vs Browns on September 8, as well as for Saints vs Cowboys last week.

However, Tom Brady faced a rocky start in the booth in his debut for FOX Sports. During his highly-anticipated announcing debut, the legendary quarterback received criticism for showing awkwardness, nervousness and lack of insights. As a result, many questioned FOX for paying him $375 million for 10 years of broadcasting. But explaining his nervousness, Brady later on his YouTube channel, emphasized, “I’m not tired from the game. I’m tired from the buildup. A lot of emotional energy and not quite knowing how things are gonna go. Certainly, a lot of fun. Definitely things to clean up. So, it’s all a learning process, man.”

Yes, it appeared to be a learning process for the new announcer, as the second game saw much improvement in his work. In the Cowboys blowout game, Tom Brady, who replaced Greg Olsen for the role, provided more thoughtful analysis, explaining how the Saints were able to execute so well on offense. Furthermore, adding more insights for his listeners, the retired player shared his perspective on how quarterbacks should protect their receivers from hard hits.

And now that he is back for another announcing work, it remains to be seen how much more he has improved from the past two weeks.
