Tom Brady and Ed Bastian share a candid football moment

In a recent IG post uploaded by Ed Bastian, who is the 9th and current CEO of Delta Airlines since 2016, Tom Brady is seen throwing a football at him. In the video, the two exchanged throws with Queen’s “We Are The Champions” playing in the background. Bastian captioned, “Thanks to @tombrady for being with us (although now I have a sore arm!) Your real-life examples and lessons in leadership inspire us at Delta and encourage us to keep climbing.

The incident in the video took place after the airline team’s two-day annual meeting in Atlanta. Tom Brady entered a venture with the thriving Delta Air Lines on September 6, 2023, as a long-term strategic advisor. The airline announced the news with a statement that the retired NFL GOAT will assist “with Delta’s goal of connecting people to their greatest potential.”

Tom Brady set to rock the E1 World Championship

Unlike some players who retire from sports to lead a relaxed life, Tom Brady’s post-retirement era is as vital as his playing days. After retiring, he purchased a minority stake in the Las Vegas Aces in March 2023. Fast forward to July, he became a celebrity team owner in the E1 World Championship, the world’s first all-electric race boat championship.

The latest tease is that Team Brady will compete in the E1 World Championship that takes place from February through November. His opponents will include other popular figures like Formula One, tennis star Rafael Nadal, and singer Marc Anthony, among others. This gives fans another reason to look forward as Tom Brady enters another competition after playing in the NFL for 23 seasons.
