Antonio Brown had a terrific career in the NFL before he took a controversial exit. The disgraced former NFL star was once a force to reckon with in his prime years. However, it was during the latter half of his career that the controversial but talented WR probably became part of some dirty politics. AB was labeled the culprit and was even made the scapegoat of a bigger problem. It was during his tenure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the axing came into effect. Before things went sour between Tom Brady and Antonio Brown. The duo were thick mates and spent a lot of time hanging out together. They had a friendly relationship, and Brown even lived with Brady for a while. In the successful 2020/21 season the Bucs won the SB title. But in the middle of all the celebrations, there lay chaos.
Now, as per the 7X Pro-Bowler, it was the same time when Brown’s contract with the Bucs was coming to an end. When he reached for a negotiation with the Bucs’ management and possibly asked for an extension, the issues and fallouts erupted. Brown was miffed when the 7X SB champion called his agent and cursed him outside. In the podcast, he said “After we get the ring in [2020], the next year, I’m the last guy that signed, “My agent, Ed Wasielewski, is getting called, cursed out by Tom Brady over ‘Why is he pushing back for the contract for scraps?”
The Central Michigan collegiate was crestfallen. He nearly broke down as he explained his situation. When he called upon the side to bolster the offenses, to help in getting an SB title, and with Brady guiding AB to meet the best agents. It was as if AB was cheated on as the same guy was now cursing him out for scraps regarding a contract. However, things didn’t end here. Nearly two more months of drama followed as Brown finally ended up signing a one-year deal in mid-2021.
The deal was only worth $3.1 million and Brown had to compensate with other stalwarts and possibly some of “Brady’s friends.” It made Brown further negative about the NFL GOAT and his last season was filled with animosity. One that made him actually question his friendship with Brady.

The former WR compiled over 12,500 total yards in his playing career and nearly 900+ receptions. AB was never to back down and then started throwing the QB under the bus for ruining his career. Starting with the allegations that Brady caused him an ankle injury. Things were turning sour between the duo. It was then the disgraced star discussed the much-discussed last game with the Bucs. After the pent-up frustration built with the so-called Tom Brady, he revealed the uncharacteristic shirtless storming off the pitch in his last-ever appearance for the Buccaneers. Brown recalled that the incident took place against the Jets and with the Bucs reeling with 14 points. It was time for AB to call it quits and head towards the locker room. Today, he regards the past friendship as only concerned with football. He did put it forward that he’s moved on from all the wrongdoings by pretending to be a friend.
