The former NFL QB turned activist and publisher just dropped another children’s book, We Are Free, You and Me, co-authored with his girlfriend, Nessa Diab. Inspired by the affirmations they share with their daughter, the book aims to uplift young readers everywhere.
Looks like Kaepernick’s pivot from cleats to the publishing game is just getting started. He’s now announcing another title—a biography!

When Clarke asked about what he’s learned since launching his own company, Kaepernick didn’t sugarcoat it, he laid it out straight. Saying, “The difficulties that creators face while trying to bring their stories to life. The existing business models don’t allow for all creators to tell their stories.” Interestingly, Kaepernick admits he wasn’t exactly a bookworm as a kid. He shared that it was We’ll Never Forget You, Roberto Clemente by Trudie Engel that made him feel seen.
