Discrimination is integral to human life and finds representation through various forms. When it comes to the professional realm, it is often demonstrated through impoliteness. While the intensity may vary, there are numerous instances of severe alterations that make it to the headlines. The infamous ‘burrito bowl slinger’ incident as discussed by Uncle Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson on the latest episode of ‘Nightcap’ can be cited as a suitable example.

Uncle Sharpe addressed an interesting news incident on the latest episode of ‘Nightcap.’ The incident revolved around an Ohio woman who has been sentenced to a month in jail and two months of service in a “fast food restaurant” after she “attacked a Chipotle worker.” She was captured on tape, allegedly throwing food in the face of the employee. She was initially sentenced to “180 days in jail” but later offered the option of serving 60 days in jail and the remaining 60 days at a fast-food restaurant wherever she finds employment and needs to work for a min of 20 hours a week. Johnson was able to relate to the incident and recalled his experience working in the service industry. “They don’t treat those in the fast food service industry with respect you know,” said the former NFL legend, “ they very rude very mean to people.”
“I’d never forget when I worked at McDonald’s,” said Johnson, who worked at a McDonald’s outlet on 62nd Street right across the street from Edison High School in Miami. However, he too faced discrimination and ill-treatment while working there, “I remember people treating me like like like I didn’t belong, you know.” He addressed the fact that though individuals have preferences when it comes to food, one should abstain from being aggressive to service providers if the service provided is not up to the mark. However, Johnson’s experience in the fast-food service industry has left a lasting impression on the NFL legend.
