Amid speculation, Le Batard fueled the excitement of how Brady’s commentator journey might turn out. Earlier in a Spotify podcast with NFL legend Steve Young, Brady aggressively criticized a quarterback for not applying pre-snap mastery that is patent for Brady. For which Le Batard commented that NFL windows do not provide much time and hence, Brady needs to be on point with his analysis. Now that, City Chiefs’ quarterback Mahomes has been performing well, Le Batard commented, “I do think that he will be paid $375 million to bitterly excoriate that Mahomes is not as good as him in every game that he calls of Mahomes.’ I can’t wait for that.”

Le Batard’s opinion about Brady’s role as a commentator brings us back to the NFL GOAT’s remark that continues to haunt him. As Brady made his appearance on “The Stephen A. Smith Show”, he came up with a candid analysis of the league. In a critical stance, the retired NFL legend commented,  “I think there’s a lot of mediocrity in today’s NFL. I don’t see the excellence that I saw in the past.” He continued to disintegrate the present situation in NFL and asserted that the coaching landscape lacks the strategic acumen that once defined the NFL.

During the interview, he contended that in an attempt to prioritize player safety, the gameplay has unknowingly fostered a “carefree’ attitude. On top of that, he subtly attacked the offensive players for disregarding their responsibilities and taking penalties for granted. This outspoken critique of Brady will surely find his way back into his role as a commentator which would bring out his hypercritical personality that stirs excitement within the public. With Mahomes dominating the gridiron, he can be the target of the former quarterback turned commentator.
