From his failed marriage to the morsels of his strained relationship with coach Bill Belichick, the Tom Brady roast has seen it all. But who would’ve wondered that the legend with seven rings would be such a secret softie? Perhaps Brady himself would have never imagined so. The TB12 is now the proud dad of six children (three humans, three furry). All thanks to Vivian for turning his dad into a cat lover, “I never thought I’d have a cat in my life. But my daughter wins everything in this house.”

It was a heart-wrenching experience when one of the kittens they adopted fell ill and passed away. To heal their hearts, they decided to bring two more kittens into their lives. This incident revealed a tender side of the TB12, showing that his love for furry friends runs deep.

Brady’s unknown side of being an animal lover emerges

Dogs have been a constant presence in Brady’s life, as earlier, he and his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, lived with four dogs. First came Lua, a sturdy brown Pitbull mix that Brady-Bündchen adopted from their local animal shelter. The following year Lua was joined by another rescue, a Beagle, the TB12 named Scooby. The Brady couple brought home two more furry friends, Fluffy, a pint-size Terrier, and a black Pitbull mix named Onyx. Brady ensured that he extended his love for furry friends beyond his pets.

While receiving an outpouring of tributes for his retirement, the GOAT engaged in a passion project. The TB12 spared time with his children to volunteer at an animal shelter in Tampa Bay. The news was disclosed by Ashley Bragg Ryan, the wife of Buccaneers’ safety Logan Ryan. A part of the heartfelt post read, “It’s the one about the dad who volunteered at the animal shelter with his kids throughout an entire football season. The one where he bonded with his kids over naming puppies and bottle feeding kittens.”

Kangaroos are the latest addition to Tom Brady’s interest as an animal lover. The TB12 was spotted enjoying his time in Australia in January this year, doing touristy stuff with the pouched friends, feeding and interacting with them. Brady enjoys his time away from the gridiron chaos with his furry pals.
