Tom Brady’s ‘mediocre’ statement can hardly be considered mediocre anymore. After Stephen A. Smith’s show with Tom Brady, in which he called today’s NFL ‘mediocre’ and ‘the players not being passionate enough’, the internet, more specifically the analysts, went bonkers. Despite there being talks about his comments on Bill Belichick, these comments gave rise to another storm of controversy, which is gradually unfolding.
Uncle Sharpe was the first one to point out the hypocrisy in Brady’s statement. However, Sharpe’s statements were from the point of view of certain rules. But now, the analysts are not sugarcoating any criticism as they throw brutal criticism straight at him. This take on his comments is not completely congruent with Sharpe’s views, yet it’s along the same lines.

In the recent episode of ‘Come and Talk 2 Me’, the guests of the show thrashed Brady for his comments on the present-day NFL. The seven-time Super Bowl champion was again criticized for his hypocrisy. “I really see Tom Brady trying to do some dumb sh** in about a year and a half and try to come back,” asserted the guest. Further, he added, “Tom ain’t been out of the League for a whole year now. When he says today’s NFL, Tom this time last year you was playing.”
Well, the point does hold value. Is today’s NFL the same NFL that Brady used to play in, ‘lacking passion’ just a year after he left? The question prompted a lot of his fans to rethink their opinions about Brady. Moreover, the guest also joked about Brady wanting to make a comeback, and the comments being a way to pave his way for it. ” Tom if you want to come back just come back like yo cut this,” sarcastically remarked the guest, making his co-hosts burst out of laughter.
