“I couldn’t have imagined a better way to ring in the new year than with the loves of my life.” On January 1, 2025, Tom Brady welcomed the New Year with a sweet message to his kids – Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian. Since divorce from Gisele Bündchen, the former New England Patriots quarterback has been an active father for his children, while also focusing on his career. However, as the offseason is on, Brady is expanding his love for his family. This time, we aren’t talking about his three kids!
Wait, if you are thinking that TB12 might have become a father again, think harder! The FOX sports color commentator wasn’t into pets much until his daughter Vivian encouraged him to. Of course, how can Brady resist his daughter’s wish?
In 2023, Vivian asked her father to adopt two kittens. So, they ended up adopting two Siamese kittens from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Although one of those little pets died earlier, the second one is still growing. On Friday, Tom Brady shared another update of his cat Vivi’s grown-up kittens in his story on Instagram. After all, the man has become a “cat dad!”

In the featured story, Brady shared a photo of his feline companion, who became a mother to two kittens two years ago on this day. In the photo, the mother cat is nurturing her babies, as the text overlaid on the post by Brady celebrated – “2 years old today (party emoji).” Yes! The former quarterback is celebrating his cat’s second birthday with his human children. Along with this post, TB12 sent a message to Vivian: “Only my Girlie Girl aka. Vivi could make me a cat dad but I’m grateful she did (three heart emoji).”
Okay, so maybe Tom Brady wasn’t quite ready to own this title back then. But now, he is blessed to be a cat dad – according to TB12 himself, all credit goes to Vivian. Even Brady is surprised to see a glimpse of his softer, family-oriented side when it comes to his feline companions. That’s why he once said, “I never thought I’d have a cat in my life. But my daughter wins everything in this house.” Congratulations on the two years of welcoming the newborns, Brady!
Besides that, let us remind you that’s not the only thing he has been celebrating this week. On the professional front, Tom Brady signed with a $12 billion sporting giant.
