Frank Reich and Bryce Young were the foundational pillars of the Carolina Panthers for the 2023 season. As Young wades through without his other through the remaining season, analysts expect better plays for the rookie QB ahead. With a deeply humbling score of 10 losses hanging beside them in the game, the Panthers currently stand at .091 percentage, the lowest across the whole of the NFC.
While many experts saw this change coming, they did not expect it to be so soon. Something Jason Whitlock discussed with his guest in his latest episode of ‘Fearless’. After mentioning a bunch of staff members, including head coaches who got suspended mid-season, Whitlock turned his undivided focus on Reich.

Reich had to bid adieu to his role just after guiding the team for 11 games, pretty uncommon in the NFL. The concept did not sit right with a person who played football the best of all, Tom Brady. On his podcast SiriusXM, Brady commented, “The more you have continuity, the more you can build on things over the course of years.” Well, Whitlock’s guest, on the other hand, begged Brady’s pardon.
Sapp revolutionized the position of defensive tackle back in the day. Yet, the HOFer understands the pivotal role the QB plays in the game. And as per him, the Panthers saw it too, which resulted in the end of the role, not only for Frank Reich but also for QB Coach Josh McCown, along with running back coach Du Stanley. “I think we have five different people right there that’s giving this man the wrong message and a bunch of different messages,” opined Sapp, referring to the addition of new people and the incongruence between their ideas to be the real reason for the Panthers massive failure this season.

Continuing further, he said, “You know what they say, too many messages to one person is not a good thing. So they cleared house.” All in all, the former Buccaneers defensive tackle believes in the abilities of Bryce Young. “He can play,” asserted Young. The Panthers QB was one of the finest players in college football, being awarded with multiple laureates.

His NFL career’s records for his debut year, on the other hand, were not so impressive. During 11 games, Young completed 1877 yards, with 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions, totaling his percentage to 61.7. On the bright side, people across the world have seen the glances of talent in this kid to play it out. Will the dusk of Frank Reich’s era at the Panthers be the dawn of Bryce Young’s legacy in the NFL? The following games of the Panthers will be a perfect answer for that.
