Tom Brady is always ready for competition, whether it’s in football, another sport, or standing up for a noble cause. And when it comes to his alma mater, the University of Michigan, or his country, you can surely count on him to get involved and make an impact. This time, too, the NFL legend became Julius Caesar for the betterment of the nation, while battling against a prank put up by Brutus for him.

The former Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, recently shared a hilarious video on his official Instagram account. This sponsored video is actually an advertisement to show his recent partnership with Abbott, the multinational medical devices and healthcare company, and the Big Ten Conference. This teaming up is basically for an important cause, as via FOX News, it is “for their first-of-its-kind We Give Blood Drive, a nationwide blood donation competition among all 18 schools in the conference that will help tackle a health problem in the United States.”

In the video shared by Tom Brady, TB12 is seen posing as a customer service representative for the cause. What happened next was an unknown call came in, and Brady answered by introducing himself, saying, “Abbott and Big Ten’s “The We Give Blood Drive”, Tom speaking. Would you like to schedule a time to donate?” However, no one responded, despite Brady saying “Hello” a few times to get a reply. Well next, it turned out to be a prank call from Brutus Buckeye, the Ohio State mascot.

The video also showed that Brutus had teamed up with other mascots from different states, as they all humorously giggled on Brady’s “Hello.” And together they had been prank-calling Brady without speaking, which, according to the former QB, was the “15th time” they had done so. Well, that was a hilarious video ad, which made the day for Tom Brady’s fans. And guess what? Making it more interesting, the 7-time Super Bowl champ wrote: “Should’ve known Brutus was behind this,” while requesting the fans to join the cause, in the caption.

Apart from this, Tom Brady didn’t miss a chance to share his thoughts on the program, as he himself has been a blood donor since his freshman year. Hence, while speaking in an interview, TB12 emphasized the importance of it, by saying, “We’re at a huge blood shortage in the U.S., and for every blood donation, you can save up to three lives. I think that’s the important part. Sometimes, we take for granted the little things that make big impacts, and this is one of them.” Well, that’s definitely a great cause, humorously put up by Tom Brady and his old playful rival, Brutus.
