Remember Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony? Yes, the 7x Super Bowl champ was honored by his former team at the Gillette Stadium in front of thousands of fans on June 12, 2024. That day has become an awesome memory for every Brady admirer. But, that day has come into the limelight once again. No, not for the induction event or TB12’s legacy. Instead, it has been revisited for another reason, as Brady is about to lose a prized possession.
According to a recent report, Tom Brady’s iconic Rolex Daytona Paul Newman timepiece will hit the auction block during a GOAT collection sale. And let us remind you, it’s no ordinary timepiece. This rare gem from the late 1960s, with its rich history and classic design, reportedly priced at a jaw-dropping $900,000.
It is well-known that Tom Brady is a Rolex enthusiast. But this Newman is special because he wore this very watch during his 2023 NFL season and his Patriots Hall of Fame induction. Hence, its demand and worth are high. But what makes this timepiece so special? Well, it’s because of its “exotic dial with its bold, three-color design and Art Deco subdials.” But the interesting part here remains, how they made only a handful of these black and gold beauties; thereby making it a true collector’s dream.

And with its vintage Jubilee bracelet, this watch stands as a timeless symbol of Brady’s style and status. If there ever was a watch to capture both elegance and a storied career, this is it. That’s the reason why it’s so special besides being used in the HOF induction ceremony! But now, Tom Brady will have to part ways with this timeless collection in an auction on December 10 at Sotheby’s New York.
Besides this, via National Jeweler, the “auction’s highest-grossing lot is expected to be a diamond-set Audemars Piguet watch custom-made for the QB for Netflix’s Greatest Roast of All Time: The Roast of Tom Brady.” Now as Brady is losing a couple of elegant and dreamy watches, don’t worry, he is also adding another one in his collection.
