We’re basically in the fourth quarter, and Christmas is just a Hail Mary away! And guess what? Celebration and prep are in full swing for the former New England Patriots star QB. That’s right, fellas! Tom Brady’s social media handle has given us yet another peek into the legendary quarterback’s life and this time around, it’s all about family.
As the holiday season rolls in, Brady joins the party as he shares a sweet moment with his daughter, Vivian, teasing his Christmas celebration with the kids. Sure, we’ve often seen him dominating the field, but when you check out his Instagram, you’ll find a bunch of red hearts and smiley emojis. Surrounded by the twinkling lights, the NFL legend’s daughter can be seen reaching up to hang an ornament on a Christmas tree.
It’s admirable seeing the way Brady’s balancing his life after football. But here’s the kicker: the 47-year-old believes that he’s imperfect when it comes to raising his children. Brady shares his eldest son, Jack, with his ex, Bridget Moynahan, while his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, co-parents his son, Benjamin, and daughter, Vivian.

As for the athletic roots, Jack’s following in his dad’s footsteps, and Brady couldn’t be prouder of the young basketball star. “Unfortunately he jumps as high as I do. But I tell him, ‘Dude, you’re gonna be a stud,’ Tom said about Jack. “I said, ‘Wait till you hit your growth spurt, you’re gonna be jumping higher, you’re gonna be dunkin’.” “And whether he does or not, who cares? But I want him to know that his dad’s got his back.”
But as much as he’s known for being a winner and a supporter of his kids, Brady’s not shy about sharing his struggles as a parent.
Tom Brady’s realness in parenting
There’s no wonder parenthood comes with certain challenges and Brady is always open about discussing the challenges he’s come across. “Being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have,” Brady acknowledged the imperfections in his approach to raising Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian during the Fortune Global Forum in New York City. “And we screwed up a lot and I’ve screwed up a lot as a parent.”

As it appears, rather than hiding behind a perfect image, Tom Brady is focused on being there for his kids, just like the way his parents were for him. He recalls his parents, Galynn and Thomas Brady. Even though the odds were stacked against him as a backup QB in his freshmen team, Brady’s parents never discouraged him from chasing his dreams. And guess what? The NFL got a champion.
And he’s being the replica of his parents for his son as well when it comes to supporting his basketball career. Sure, he’s got seven Super Bowl rings, but no wonder Tom Brady’s favorite title is Dad. And honestly, seeing him cheer for his son as the fans have cheered for him? That’s the real win!
