With the grand opening of CardVault by Tom Brady at American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ, the GOAT isn’t just collecting cards. He is building the next generation of sports fandom. As he stated earlier, “Collecting is about more than just the cards – it’s about the memories, nostalgia, and the connection to the game.” He brought the same spirit to his grand opening.

On April 11, 2025, Brady personally headlined the ribbon-cutting ceremony at his new 1,200-square-foot shrine to collecting at the MetLife Stadium. “This is a great location for us… A store a month is what Chris talks about,” Brady said, as he acknowledged CardVault co-founder Chris Costa amidst their on-stage chat. “We’re just getting started,” Brady added. American Dream’s IG post also reiterated the same thing. The caption reads, “The GRAND OPENING of the NEW flagship @cardvaultbytombrady location was INSANE!! Fans were hyped, the energy was through the roof, and @tombrady pulled up & brought the vibes!”

American Dream’s official Instagram post brought the right energy to Brady’s presence. It further added, “The store is absolutely 🔥🔥, and the sports community showed UP!!” Giving a nod to Brady’s expansion ambitions, the caption concluded with: “This is just the beginning — WELCOME to American Dream, CardVault!” From signed jerseys and Pokémon packs to a custom-designed steel vault that houses “holy grails” of sports collectibles, CardVault indeed has a premium collection.

And, home to DreamWorks Water Park, Nickelodeon Universe, and MrBeast Burger, the American Dream is the perfect location. But now it has a new headliner with CardVault. Interestingly, the store’s opening marks the first fully branded CardVault since Brady acquired an ownership stake in February 2025.

“Everything in life ebbs and flows… but we’re in a great time,” Brady told FOX Business. “I see these rip nights all the time. People breaking cards, breaking packs—it’s a great part of everybody’s hobby journey.” CardVault by Tom Brady is also backed by major brands, including PSA, Beckett, SGC, Topps, Panini, and Fanatics Authentic. While American Dream now hosts one of the most advanced collectibles shops, it comes amidst Brady’s negligence of his ex-wife’s advice.
