Tom Brady is FOX’s top analyst and will be commentating at Super Bowl LIX. Ever since the Patriots legend began his broadcasting journey, fans have eagerly anticipated how the seven-time Super Bowl winner will perform in this new phase of his life. From his end, Brady has been working hard to enhance his commentary skills, but unfortunately, certain restrictions have hindered his full preparation for the role.

Throughout the season, the 47-year-old has been excluded from production meetings and practice sessions. Fans recently grew concerned as Brady was the only one absent when the FOX broadcasting team attended Chiefs practice on Wednesday. This raised questions among people. Will Brady not be part of the Super Bowl broadcasting team? What was the reason for his absence from training? Well, the answer is quite simple. Brady is a minority owner of the Raiders, and that means there is a special set of rules that dictate what Brady can and cannot do as a broadcaster.

Brady is prohibited from attending practices of other teams because he could gain insight into their preparations and use that information to benefit the Raiders. It kind of makes sense, doesn’t it?

Broadcasters attend team practices to gather valuable information about their preparations, allowing them to provide key insights to viewers. This helps them get ready for the game. Brady especially loved to be thoroughly prepared before any game, and not being able to do so in his broadcasting career would certainly feel odd for the NFL legend.

Brady started his broadcasting journey in May 2022 when he did a $375 million deal with FOX. It hasn’t been smooth sailing for the legend though. The Pats legends has been constantly called out and trolled for his ‘lack’ of commentary skill. Especially after his week 1 debut, people trolled him, even using terms like “amateurish” and labeling his delivery as “colorless.” Well, does all this mean Brady will leave the FOX broadcasting team soon? Hell No!! The legend is here to stay and will be seen commentating during the Chiefs vs Eagles Super Bowl game.
