Tom Brady, the NFL legend, talks to Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens and has a fanboy moment over his signature move. The 56-year-old retired from the NFL in February 2023 but continues to keep up with all things football through his podcast and social media. Brady has been regularly consistent with his podcast where he has invited several legends like Rob Gronkowski, Denzel Washington, Shaquille O’Neal, and many more.

In his newest episode, he can be seen talking to Jackson and they discuss his relationship with Jim Harbaugh as well as his dream of winning a Super Bowl. The conversation eventually led to the viral video that made Lamar Jackson viral in the world of football and sure enough, Brady had seen it as well. On 9th January, Brady invited Lamar Jackson to the ‘Let’s Go’ podcast and had a lot of praise for the Ravens’ quarterback on his signature move. The NFL legend talked about the first time he ever took notice of Jackson and was truly blown away by the move that saw Jackson putting on the brakes as defenders tried to tackle him.

While commending his abilities and playmaking skills, Brady captioned the video with a joke that mocked himself. He wrote, “Imagine me trying to put the brakes on like that 😂” The joke comes off as an indication of Brady’s career as he was known to be tackled quite a lot on the field and it seems bizarre to even imagine the Patriots’ star to stop dead in the tracks like Jackson does. But with all that said, here’s the joke that Brady made during the podcast about him receiving an 8th Super Bowl ring that had Larry Fitzgerald in splits.

Tom Brady wants an 8th Super Bowl ring and here’s how he’s hoping to receive it

Brady retired with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after playing with them for three years. Though it was a drastic shift from being with the Patriots for over 20 years, he soon adapted to the team’s environment and even won a Super Bowl with them. His win with the Bucs granted him his 7th Super Bowl ring, which is the most anyone has ever received in the history of the NFL. However, his recent statement makes it seem like he’s still hungry for one more even after retiring.

The Buccaneers are currently standing at the top of the NFC South division and the fans are hoping that they can go all the way to a Super Bowl win this season. In response to this, Brady said, “If Tampa does go on to win the Super Bowl, I am expecting an 8th honorary Super Bowl ring for just getting out of the way!”  To which, Fitzgerald replied by saying, “You were the problem huh?” Thus, the entire conversation between Brady and Jackson seemed like the passing of the baton from one legend to an up-and-coming generational talent that possibly might live up to the legacy of Brady.
