However, when it comes to breaking Brady’s record of 35 playoff wins, it seems like it’ll take a bit more time and games for Mahomes to overtake the Brady effect that is still going strong even after a year of his retirement. The highest number right before Brady is Joe Montana’s 16 wins, which proves how far ahead the former QB for the Buccaneers is. While Mahomes created history last night, it came with its challenges when his helmet broke after a fierce tackle during the match.

The AFC wild card match was the fourth-coldest in NFL history. Additionally, the cold showed its rage on the field last night as the players gave it their all. Later, he was given a backup helmet, but it left Mama Mahomes feeling quite worried for the quarterback.

Go my team!! #CHIEFS just tell me the cold broke the helmet.” Thus, Mahomes’ creating history is proof that greatness comes with its own set of challenges that he overcame quite tremendously.
