Prior to Bill Belichick‘s New England Patriots game, there will be an epic showdown between the two protection services. The Army-Navy Game is presented by the USAA and will be arriving for the first time at the Gillette Stadium. It’s only the third instance of the game taking place outside the mid-Atlantic region. The previous games took place in Chicago in 1926 and later in Pasadena, California in 1983.
The procession will be massive with parking gates opening up at 9:00 AM to avoid any tailgating and rushes. Moreover, there’s an expected convoy of 95 buses that are due to arrive for the match. Everyone including the executive director of special events for the Kraft Group, Phil Buttafuoco is excited.
As per Buttafuoco, the occasion is none different than hosting a Super Bowl game. “A lot of people will tell you that this Army-Navy game is like hosting a Super Bowl. It’s at that magnitude, certainly, at the college level,” The money involved is massive and will churn out an estimated $30 million for the region.
