Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift made the perfect couple. Until NFL Network’s David Carr went up and questioned Taylor Swift about her choice. While there have been questions hurled at Tay Tay, they were never as direct as Carr’s. Taylor Swift overtook the NFL when she started dating Chiefs’ tight end Taylor Swift. Call it lady luck or years of constant practice and solving the drawbacks, Travis Kelce and Co. once again land their team in the Super Bowl.

As they face the 49ers after 4 days, David Carr has already cooked up something for Taylor Swift: a question pointing at her choice of the love of her life. Well, Miss Swift’s relationship with Kelce seems to be going ‘all too well’ but Carr wonders if it would still be the case, given her taste in tight ends, once she comes face to face with the alluring George Kittle? “I’m glad Taylor Swift is out of the country… because if she sees George Kittle, she might rethink the tight end that she chose,” cheekily pointed out the NFL Network host.

The funny/problematic part about it? George Kittle has been married to the love of his life, Claire Kittle, since 2019. So is Kelce, his good friend, whenever they are not playing against each other.

Travis Kelce and George Kittle’s relationship

While it might come as a shock for many, both of the leading tight ends of the league are fans of each other. There have been numerous instances, interviews, podcasts, and everything in between where the two have unrestrictedly complimented each other. On one hand, Kelce called Kittle the ‘King of the tight ends in the league’.

On the other, Kittle considers it an honor whenever someone compares him to Kelce. “Any time you’re compared to Travis Kelce, it’s a good thing. The fact that I’ve become friends with him, peers with him, and run ‘Tight End U’ with him, it’s been awesome. He’s someone I’ve looked up to. I’m a huge fan of Travis Kelce,” admitted Kittle. Kelce even joined Kittle on his podcast Hidden Pearls last year. And they co-founded the Tight End University about three years ago, with retired tight end Greg Olsen. So much to share, yet only one of them will lift the Lombardi Trophy.
