Tom Brady’s statements from his interview with Steve A. Smith have sparked quite a debate. This time round another person has used Brady’s remarks to push their own agenda. Kareem Jackson, the infamous Broncos’ safety, grabbed the spotlight yet again. And for the same reason that he garnered negative attention for prior. The NFL has suspended him yet again, ironically, on the same day he ended his first suspension.

It seems Jackson was not going to sit this one out silently, as he took to his social media account to defend himself by posting a video of Brady. However, this did sit too well with fans who found Kareem’s actions irresponsible and his post as a sign of him not taking accountability.

Fans did not support him on this one as his way of using Brady’s much-viewed video as it seemed misused to them. Jackson, addressing his suspension due to aggressive moves on the ground, which were flagged ‘unsafe’ by the NFL. However, he resorted to Brady’s recently made statement of ‘lack of passion’ and players ‘not being developed enough as his shield. Bad move, Jackson. The fans let him know.

“Guys that impacted the game in a certain way, every hit they would have made would have been a penalty. You hear coaches complaining about their own players being tackled,” might be the exact words of Brady that Kareem was trying to highlight, looking at his timeline of suspensions.

Kareen Jackson: suspended twice

On Monday, Jackson was subjected to another suspension of four games, owing to his foul move against Dobbs in the Broncos clash against Minnesota Vikings. Jackson intentionally lowered his helmet to hit Vikings QB Joshua Dobbs. The move was not flagged during the game, however; it was later investigated and acted upon by the authorities.

Moreover, Sunday marked the day that Jackson had his first game since his first suspension. The first suspension came because of similar reasons. In the week 7 Broncos vs Green Bay Packers game for violating unnecessary roughness rules. Despite it originally being a four-game suspension, it was reduced to two games after an appeal. Even though Jackson can appeal to this situation as well, the chances of it being accepted are slim. As per the current suspension, the Broncos safety is eligible to return in the week 15 games of Broncos against the Lions. Will Jackson appeal this time as well? And if yes, will it be accepted?
