Having a loved one suffering from a terminal disease is complicated, and Tom Brady knows perfectly well that it can challenge even the strongest families. Despite being the GOAT of the NFL and leaving a legacy behind, Tom Brady is a loving and dutiful son to his mother, Galynn Brady, a cancer survivor. His recent venture shows his philanthropic nature as he honors the warriors with a message from the heart.  

As his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, the retired football legend had to go through various life challenges, and he deeply feels for the people who are in a similar situation. This gave him an empathetic nature where he wished to contribute to making the world a better place for everybody. His last collaboration with the Delta team shows his support and honor for breast cancer warriors.

In celebration of a battle well fought by breast cancer patients, Tom Brady joined Delta Airlines to deliver a message of appreciation and motivation. The retired star uploaded the event in a short reel on his Instagram and captioned it: “In the face of adversity, we each have an ability to rise above the challenge, to grow and learn with more compassion and empathy for those around us.”

Delta team has a group of breast cancer survivors, and his mother, Galynn Brady, is also one of them. Tom Brady humbly addressed the fighters, saying that they’re the ones who have inspired lots of people through their “bravery,” “courage,” and “resilience in fighting a very difficult disease.” The 7-time Super Bowl champion added, “I have come here to send you guys off and say congratulations. Keep fighting.

Tom Brady’s own journey as his mother battled with the disease hasn’t been easy, and he calls it a “draining” experience with “endless medical appointments” and treatments.” He honors the survivors, saying that it’s their inspiring survival stories that give other patients a will to fight and recover. His noble message shines clear and true as he said, “You’re not defined by your cancer, you’re defined by the strength inside you.

Tom Brady has a special connection with Delta Airlines. His family faced adversity when Galynn Brady was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016. She underwent chemotherapy and radiation for five months and came out as a survivor. Today, the 79-year-old cancer warrior is seven years in remission.
