As we roll through this NFL season, there’s one team that’s got almost everything: the Kansas City Chiefs. With Patrick Mahomes at QB and Andy Reid running the show, they’re straight-up dominating, sitting at a wild 15-1 record. While most people are in awe of their success, some are lowkey freaking out about the Chiefs potentially rewriting NFL history. And now, Julian Edelman is stepping up with a serious warning things might get out of hand if someone doesn’t step up to stop them.
Edelman’s not playing around when he says it’s time for the NFL to act. The Chiefs are looking at a potential three-peat after already winning Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024, and now they’re eyeing 2025. As Edelman put it, “The Chiefs are the best football team in the United States of America, it ain’t even close. It’s not even close.” He’s calling out the league, urging players like Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and anyone in the NFC to step up and stop Kansas City’s juggernaut. Edelman knows the clock is ticking, and if someone doesn’t make a move soon. The Chiefs could easily cement themselves as an untouchable dynasty.

The pressure is real. We’re talking about Mahomes and Reid becoming legends for life. Julian Edelman’s basically pleading the NFL to do something now before we’re stuck watching the same team win forever. Kansas City’s vibe right now is straight-up untouchable, unless the rest of the league gets it together. They might just lock up history.
But not everyone’s buying into the Chiefs’ inevitable three-peat. Terry Bradshaw—NFL legend and straight-up icon—has some serious doubts. When asked, “Are the Chiefs your No. 1 team in the AFC?” Bradshaw, 76, shot back. “They [the Chiefs] are not going to win three [games] in a row.” It’s a bold take, but Bradshaw isn’t the only one who thinks maintaining a dynasty isn’t a sure thing. Even with Kansas City on fire, the league’s contenders are gonna need to step up. Or we might just watch a dynasty that nobody can stop.
