Kaepernick’s knee cost him his entire career but even after going to war with the NFL, he is back and trying to restart his career again. The lengthy case battle finally came to an end when Kaepernick reached a settlement deal with the organization and was awarded an undisclosed amount of several million. But even after everything that transpired, the fans still want to see him back on the field as he has a lot of talent to show and a lot of things to prove that were left unsaid. In terms of his football career, he saw a glimmer of hope when the CFL (Canadian Football League) announced that one of their teams, B.C. Lions will be putting Kaepernick on the negotiation list. While he’ll get an opportunity to play football, it would certainly not be with the NFL he’s loved for so many years. It was also announced that Dwayne Johnson, the owner of the XFL League, made an offer to Kaepernick to join the minor league but Kaepernick refused as the pay is far less than the NFL he was banished from. The world of football hasn’t been kind to him but the fans still hold out hope for his return to the gridiron someday.
