After getting rejected by the New York Jets, Colin Kaepernick was kind of exposed in front of the world. His history with the game hasn’t been any better. Know for his ungracious attitude toward his career and the arena, the actions of the former QB are no less than hypocrisy or that is what the famous and bold YouTuber believes.

Reflecting on Kaepernick’s actions, the Black and White Sports channel content creator came forward to expose the former QB as the one who contradicts his own self. His statements appeared to have a determined tone to them. Thus, they were presented in the form of bold and fearless claims.

Colin Kaepernick, a slave to hypocrisy

In his Netflix documentary series, Colin in Black and White, Kaepernick labeled the National Football League as a slave system. Not to mention, he compared the NFL draft process to a slave auction. As per Kaepernick, the league forbids independence and appreciates subservience. While these remarks appear to be food for thought, they come shrouded in hypocrisy, given the footballer’s history it seems odd.

There is little to no doubt that the former professional has benefited from the league and then left the NFL on his own will. This is precisely what was questioned by the host of the Black and White Sports Channel. The YouTuber fearlessly asked, “What slave is actually getting paid $20+ million a year like Kaepernick?”

He continued, “If I’m not mistaken, Kaepernick in his final season, his salary was like $16M. Sign me up for slavery.” This was the host’s way of shedding light on the fact that the former athlete made more than others a year. Thus, his complaints against the system did not appear to be justified.

This amount that was paid to Colin Kaepernick and his colossal net worth is thanks to the NFL in the first place, per the video. But, this brings viewers back to an important question. Whether the former QB was kicked out of the league or not?

Colin Kaepernick’s autonomy

The Black and White Sports YouTuber supported the argument that the league did not kick out Colin Kaepernick. In March 2017, the former league member opted out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers to become a free agent. But, he did not enter the field again, per reports.

Colin Kaepernick also had the opportunity to join the Denver Broncos, but he rejected that trade. After leaving the league, he did not return to the football field for over 6 years. And per numerous sources, it appears that all of these choices were made by Kaepernick himself of his own free will, without any compulsion.
