Ryan Clark, the former safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers, goes off on Mike Tomlin’s performance for the team. The 44-year-old is now a football analyst and has never held back from voicing his honest opinions. And in his latest statement, he brutally called out the relationship between the Steelers and Tomlin after their last three losses.

The Pittsburgh Steelers currently stand in the bottom position of the AFC North points table with a record of 7-7. It’s apparent that Tomlin needs to enforce some drastic changes within the team. Otherwise, the Steelers need an immediate change in management, as Clark stated outrightly.

On the latest episode of the ‘Get Up’ show, presented by Mike Greenberg, Ryan Clark joined as a guest to present his thoughts on his former team’s downfall. The fans were surprised to hear Clark’s opinion on Tomlin, even though the former player was on the team from 2006 to 2013 and witnessed the very start of Tomlin’s contract with the Steelers.

Clark presented his honest thoughts on the situation and said, “Coach Tomlin should now move on from Pittsburgh. And everyone should line up to hire him because the fricking man knows how to do it but he shouldn’t do it there anymore.” The Steelers have only three more games left this season, and it’ll be interesting to see whether they make the playoffs yet or not. In response to their third loss, Tomlin had to say this in defense of his team’s performance.

Mike Tomlin acknowledges the poor state of the Steelers’ after their loss to the Colts

The Steelers took on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, December 17th. It was supposed to be a close match between the two giants, but the Colts ended up clearing the field with a staggering score of 30-13. The fans were glued to their screens to see what Tomlin had to say to justify the Steelers’ failure, and it didn’t look like the veteran coach had any answers.

Tomlin said, “Let’s be honest. We’re a fundamentally poor football group right now. We’re playing losing football. I take responsibility for that. By losing football I mean we’re just not doing fundamental things well enough. We’re not. We’re turning the ball over. We’re highly penalized. We don’t play good in situations. So, I’m just  acknowledging that.” Thus, the Steelers are set to face off against the Bengals, the Seahawks, and the Ravens in their last three matches of the season, but with the current state of the team, it seems highly improbable that the Steelers make it to the playoffs.
