Opening up about the separation on March 7, Gisele Bündchen became emotional, later dismissing the ongoing speculations in another media exchange. Subsequently, on the March 10 episode of the ‘Outkick’ podcast, sportscaster Charly Arnolt was seen analyzing these speculations, sharing words with host Clay Travis. So what was it all about? 

Debates arise on Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s divorce 

After parting ways with Brady in October 2022, Gisele Bündchen has been questioned several times about the reasons why they broke up. While many such rumors pointed at Tom’s return to NFL games, sportscaster Arnolt narrated her perceptions on these widespread debates. 

Mentioning how Gisele Bündchen wished for her then-husband to retire, Charly also hinted at the model’s hopes for Brady to overcome on-field injuries. In a candid take, Arnolt explained, “Tom just kept making football his main priority.” Articulating on Gisele’s narrative, the sportscaster continued, “She asked him to retire. She wanted him to spend more time with the family.”

With further insights on what Gisele Bündchen urged for, Charly mentioned, “She wanted him to have a very successful future. He did retire, but then he went back, and I think at that point she was like, okay, you’re not taking me seriously.”

Additionally, sportscaster Charly also highlighted the emotional aspect of Brady and his former partner’s separation. Amid swirling speculations, Gisele Bündchen personally responded to these claims, disregarding the influence of Tom’s short-lived retirement and its link to their divorce.

Pointing out that the situation is not “so black and white,’ Gisele Bündchen recalled always cheering for her ex-husband. “If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want all his dreams to come true,” she said, remembering her reactions to Brady’s NFL retirement. 

Reportedly, Gisele Bündchen had called his retirement a ‘crazy thing’, expressing grief when Tom left his career, a statement much in contrast to the ongoing controversies. After their relationship started in 2006, they had two kids together, with Gisele now outlining the experience of eventually growing apart.

One of the highest-earning models in the world since 2001, Gisele Bündchen, claimed she had no regrets about her years with Tom Brady. While the 45-year-old NFL star called the decision ‘painful and difficult’, the impacts of this divorce became evident for both parties, with Gisele sharing best wishes for her ex-husband.
