Former San Francisco 49ers running back OJ Simpson is famously known for his publicized trial and controversial acquittal over two murders. And while that controversial 1995 phase of his life overshadowed his career as an NFL Hall of Fame player, he’s managed to stay in the spotlight. But a recent clip of him is stirring concern among fans.?

We may never understand the life of an ex-convict and whatever they go through. For someone like OJ Simpson, who had been accused of murder and faced complications with the law on several occasions, we can assume that it can take a toll on health because the once fit and healthy running back seems to have aged way behind his 76 years.?

The Pro Football Hall of Famer and ex-convict has changed so drastically that all the vitality has been taken away as he’s pictured buying groceries. One particular Twitter post reads, “EXCLUSIVE: OJ Simpson looks unrecognizable as the frail NFL legend”.

The retired NFL veteran was photographed in a maroon Southern California University polo shirt, beige pants, and brown loafer shoes. He appears to have gone grocery shopping as he held a grocery bag and a laptop while walking the streets of Las Vegas this week. He altered to the point where you won’t even realize it’s OJ Simpson even if you walk past him in the streets of Las Vegas without looking closely.?

The famous’ Trial of the Century’ began in 1994 when he was charged with the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. He was later acquitted in 1995 after being forced to pay $33.5 million for damage compensation to the deceased’s families. This month marks the 28th year since his acquittal, and he’s changed a lot over the years.?

From an NFL star to a convict?

OJ Simpson had established a worthy career in the NFL when he joined the Buffalo Bills in 1969. He won the 1973 NFL MVP title after setting a league record with more than 2,000 yards in a season. The same year, the 5-time Pro Bowl champion also won the title of NFL Offensive Player of the Year.

After OJ Simpson played his last season in the NFL in 1979, he went on to pursue an acting and broadcasting career until 1994, when he was accused of murder. Following his acquittal in 1995, he got into a problem with the law when he was arrested for armed robbery in 2008 and sentenced to nine to 33 years in jail. He served nine years and was released in 2017.?
