The most important factor that led to the Ravens’ loss was a weak start to the game. Trailing the Colts for most of the game, the Ravens basically provided their opponent everything they needed to keep scoring. Not to mention, their opponent scored five field goals, including the game-winning field goal in overtime from 53 yards by Matt Gay.

The team also had some non-called penalties going against them but they were conscientious enough to not blame their loss on it. Therefore, some missed opportunities and the Colts’ strong defense led the Ravens to defeat. Even though Lamar Jackson ran for an 8-yard touchdown in the game, he could not prevent his team’s loss.
