Home/NFL

Ever since Randy Moss decided to wear sunglasses on live TV, the conversations about it and on it have been quite too much. I mean, the Ex-Viking himself said it clearly: “Me and my wife, my family, are battling through something internally.” And no one can understand, where the meaning of the word ‘internally’ got lost in translation.

Enter Larry Fitzgerald Sr. and Brett Favre. Larry Sr. claimed Moss had “liver cancer,” and Brett followed up with a similar take, offering prayers. I mean, come on… We understand that you meant well with it. But you need to check before sharing your flowers. So, as expected, Randy’s son, Thaddeus had to step in and draw the line with a no-nonsense: “Check your F—-ing sources.”

Now, Ryan Clark, the always-level-headed analyst, chimed in, defending Randy’s right to share his story on his terms. “No matter how pure the intent,” Clark said, “it’s no one’s business to share but the Moss family’s.” He reminded everyone that Randy isn’t just an NFL legend but a father and a husband first. So, there should not even have been the case for the Moss family to step in and quash the “disgusting” rumors.  And honestly, he’s got a point. Privacy matters, especially in situations like this.

Posting the clip on his X, Ryan captioned: “Randy Moss is a hero to many. He was a tall, lean, ultimately talented, speed receiver from Rand, West Virginia with Super Human skill! He was no bigger hero to anyone than his son Thaddeus & his family… This is his story to tell. Let them fight their fight. They deserve that privacy.” Just the perfect thought you need with everything that’s going around!

See, it’s not directed towards the fans and players who rallied behind Moss. The Skol Nation got behind to wish him a speedy recovery… If that’s not enough, then Deion Sanders (yup, coach prime took time out for a simple message), his ex-teammate Tom Brady, who wrote a much needed: “We all love you!” Thank you, Tom. We, indeed, love you, Randy. However, not everyone was able to get it, it seems.

Even Larry Fitzgerald Jr., a class act through and through, subtly checked his dad. “Dad, I think it’s best to respect his privacy on this,” he wrote, urging everyone to focus on sending positive vibes instead of speculating. A simple but powerful move that underlined how sensitive these situations are.

Now, watching everything befall in front of his eyes, Randy is left with no choice but to take the reins and ease the burden on his family. He’s letting fans hear from him directly, shutting down the rumor mill once and for all.

Randy Moss has heard enough of the speculations around his health

It’s not every day a Hall of Famer like Randy Moss steps back from the limelight, but even legends deserve their privacy. Moss, known for turning defenses into memes, took a moment to share something deeply personal. “Your boy has been battling something internally,” he said on Instagram.

And yes, the sunglasses during Sunday NFL Countdown weren’t just a fashion statement. They sparked plenty of whispers. But here’s the deal—Moss isn’t just a football icon; he’s a man who deserves respect. He reminded us with a gentle nudge to “get your check-ups and blood work done.” Wise words, right?

Still, the rumor mill couldn’t resist. Social media lit up after people noticed the yellowing in his eyes, prompting all sorts of wild speculations. Moss? He stayed classy, asking for prayers instead of pity. But now, guess it has been enough. He has decided to take the chatter head-on. And how is he doing it? By going live on Instagram with his trademark humor. “Howdy Earthlings,” he announced, promising to go live on Friday for his “fans and prayer warriors.” You can already feel the honesty coming through.

So, as fans, let’s respect that. Tune in if you want to hear from the man himself, but let’s leave the speculations on the sidelines. After all, Moss has always played the game his way, and he’s still winning.
