Shannon Sharpe, the comic guy who made everyone laugh with Skip Bayless, has his secrets. Well, everyone does, but Sharpe’s was something that made fans have a good laugh too, along with making them go ‘ooh..’ over his rarely mentioned characteristic. Sharpe always had been a core romantic at heart, which is evident in an incident he shared in his podcast appearance.

Although the 55-year-old has a hard luck in finding his lady, Sharpe was never the one to give up. Rather, the Hall of Famer might have started too soon in his life, looking at his confession.

The Broncos‘ macho former tight-end, one that made the opponents second doubt their skills, is an equally soft-hearted guy. And this is not from the time when he got into his relationship with Katy Kellner. Sharpe, in his appearance on ‘Nightcap’: a podcast by Uncle Sharpe and his former league mate Chad Johnson, made a revelation. “I was in the 1st grade. I had a crush on this girl. What do they give somebody they got a crush on? A ring,” said Sharpe.

He further continued with, “You know what, my sister got a couple of rings from Avon. She ain’t been wearing this one. So she ain’t gonna even know I got it,” professed Sharpe. Well, bad luck for him as his sister ‘dimed him out’ in front of his father. Poor 1st grader Sharpe did not have any excuse as well back then. Now, he just reminisces about it and laughs. Yet, the laugh seems bittersweet to some, looking at the ex-girlfriends of the two-time Super Bowl winner.

It is no unknown fact that Sharpe has not met the love of his life yet. However, the NFL legend has had his fair share of ladies. The most important romantic relationship Sharpe shared was with Kat Kellner, probably his most famous one. Kellner is a fitness coach, and guess where the two met first? The gym. The couple even got engaged, yet ended up parting ways in 2018 due to infidelity.

The seven-time consecutive Pro Bowl was also involved with Erika Evans. The latter was even rumored to be Sharpe’s spouse in 1992. However, things never came to the public’s attention. Evans is the mother of Sharpe’s first child, Kiari. Moreover, the NFL icon also has two younger daughters after Kiari, whose mothers are unknown.
