Patriots were one of the very few teams to be honored by a golden era, where it was tough for the audience to choose what to focus on a game day, the game, or the players! While the hardcore ones were surely all about the catches Tom Brady passed to Gronk, saying that the seats were not getting sold out to catch a glimpse of Jimmy Garoppolo or Danny Amendola would be a white lie.

Bill Belichick’s pickiness not only benefitted the Patriots in the Super Bowl department but also the ‘good-looks’ category. Even CBS News agrees with the Patriots being ‘the most attractive football team’. But ever wondered about competitiveness that loomed over the players to be one of the best, in the numbers as well as maintaining their rugged yet charming features?

Julian Edelman, in this week’s episode of Games with Names, had a chat with his teammate, and his top rivals in the good looks competition, Rob Gronkowski. Gronk agreed to the unstated vying prevalent in the locker room, especially after 2014, when Jimmy Garoppolo was a second-round 62nd overall pick. The year witnessed strong reverberations of ‘The Garoppolo effect’, so much so, that even Brady felt “worried”, as per Gronk.

Garoppolo reigns as one of the most attractive active NFL player. Fans calling him the ” a handsome guy” at the Allegiant Stadium even left the handsome heartthrob speechless. When ultimately prompted to list out the most looking players, from the plethora of choices available, Edelman and Gronk made an official list of ‘The top 5 best looking Patriots players’ as per the contenders. The sheer admiration the former Patriots players still hold for Brady was palpable in the clip. When Edelman started ranking out the players, Brady had to top the list.

After whom, Garoppolo, Amendola, Gronk and Edelman followed the suit, respectively. But as per Gronk, the list was brimming with O-line players. “We got to throw a lineman,” he commented. While discussing the lineman prospects, Matt Light earned a mention, but Logan Mankins stole the show with his classic country-style rancher. Gronk admitted the guy was “Country-hot“. Sure enough, the short-listing was as tough as any on-field game strategies they had to build.
