Some moments in sports are simply destined to become legendary. On February 9, something magical happened that had NFL fans everywhere doing a double-take. Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski – a duo that’s practically football royalty – recreated their famous Super Bowl magic. But here’s the twist: there wasn’t a field in sight! Picture this: Gronk, with that signature grin of his, catching yet another perfect spiral from the GOAT himself. The excitement in his eyes? As real as any game-day thrill. And when Julian Edelman joined the mix? Well, let’s just say it felt like the good old days all over again.

This Thursday, Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules posted on Instagram about Rob Gronk catching passes from Tom Brady on Bourbon Street. Edelman kicked things off with a simple question, and Rob got super pumped sharing his experience. “Really cool. It was a segment, I was surprised to do because I really didn’t know that Tom was coming to our set for the pregame show.”

He continued, “I mean he’s got a busy schedule and I was on Bourbon Street, we’re doing the show and we’re like Rob going up on that rooftop. Tom’s gonna be on that rooftop and he’s like throw you a pass. I was like, no way, whatever you can catch a pass from Tom Brady. Even when retired, you’re gonna catch that pass from Tom Brady.” Catching a pass from Tom Brady? That never gets old for Rob, that’s for sure!

When Edelman mentioned catching most of Tom’s throws, Rob got hyped about it. He agreed Julian did catch a lot, but catching from Tom is just unreal. “There were actually some wires to defense, he actually threw over the wires. I made the catch. The crowd went crazy.” After snagging that pass, Rob talked about doing the first-ever Bourbon Street Gronk Spike. The ball shot up 25 feet, and the crowd went wild! Gronk spikes were everywhere, and people started doing Gronk spikes with their drinks because they were so impressed. Curious about the vibe on Bourbon Street that day? Well, there is a story behind this unforgettable reunion!
