Ah, if only we could save time in a bottle, saving daylight during the darker months would not have caused us to make major adjustments to our day-to-day lives. Something that retired NFL legend Tom Brady discussed on Monday?s episode of ?Let?s Go!? [Season III], co-hosted by former Arizona Cardinals star Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. The concept of saving daylight, or turning the clock an hour forward during the winter and adjusting it back during the warmer months, is an age-old phenomenon that helps individuals keep in sync with the change in the duration of days and nights.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion revealed how the change in the duration of daylight during the winters ?makes it tough for football weather.? He also discussed how different players would act differently to adapt to it. The revelation shed ample light on the true polarity between former Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski, aka “Gronk,” and former wide receiver Julian Francis Edelman in terms of nature and personality.

Former Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady revealed how he was not fond of winter and the holiday season. The reason???it gets colder?, ?it gets dark?, and ?people struggle with the holidays.? He refers to the ample amount of sweets, cookies, and desserts during the holiday season, which starts with Halloween and continues through Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This, added to the cold and darkness of the winter, makes people “just want to bundle up, and eat a lot of sh***y food.? Which can become very tough for the football season. Players would enter the facilities for practice and leave when it had already become dark and cold outside. Different players would adjust differently; however, Gronk ?had a different idea.?

?With Gronk he would turn the clocks forward?to go against the grain a little bit,? explained his former teammate Brady, referring to how the tight end saw things differently and continues to do so. However, that was very different from how wide receiver Julian Francis Edelman would react.

?I would say Julien is the same but his OCD is a little too intense,? revealed Brady. He further went on to discuss how Grong wanted to do things a little differently. On the contrary, Edelman does the same thing the same way year after year. Regardless of the difference in tier personalities, the 49-year-old legend explains that it was always interesting to interact with the younger minds since they had so much to bring to the table.

In a way, it is reminiscent of what Deion Sanders explained during his press interviews regarding hosting the ?largest American football lesson? that landed him a Guinness World Record: spending time with the young keeps one feeling young. Another factor that contributed to Brady?s ability to maintain his fitness levels and performance metrics over two decades. If his fitness is Demi-god-like or super-hero-worthy, we shall leave it up to the NFL fans to decide. While the NFL star answers a few of their most interesting questions.
