When you talk about Rob Gronkowski, you probably gonna picture the ultimate party animal, right? Whether his wild touchdown celebrations or partying with the best of ‘em, the former Patriots’ tight end never seems far from the spotlight. After retiring from pro football back in 2022, Gronk has been keeping busy with various ventures, especially his broadcasting role for Fox. Now that the season’s all wrapped up, Gronk’s ready to kick back and enjoy some quality family time.

And honestly, after the Super Bowl, what better time for a little break, right? I mean, it’s right before Valentine’s Day! So, you’d think the 35-year-old NFL legend would be all in for spending the day with his girlfriend, right? Well, Gronk hit us with a curveball we didn’t see coming.

Sure, it’s been a few days since Valentine’s Day, but looks like it’s not over yet for Gronk. The reason? Well, on Monday, Gronk took to his Instagram and shared a story of his new valentine. Any guesses? It’s not actually his girlfriend, Camille Kostek. In fact, it’s his dentist. Sounds crazy, right? “Had to get @gronk teeth shining for Vday! Thank you for being my tooth Valentine,” he captioned his IG story.

He shared a picture with his doctor in front of the Shuyab Dental Institute while captioning it and honestly, that’s pretty insane if we’re being honest. On one hand, his girlfriend had a cozy Valentine’s Day all planned out with Gronk, but on the other? The former TE was out there making a new Valentine for himself—totally not in a serious way, though.

Speaking of which, prior to the Super Bowl, Camille shared her plans with Gronk on one of the special days of the month for the couple. Camille revealed that she and Gronk (dating for almost a decade) are “very much looking forward to sleeping in [their] own bed [and] sleeping in a little bit.” She further elaborated their plans would include, “ordering in, going to sleep early, maybe a bubble bath, maybe an at-home massage and snuggling with [their] dog.”

Now, that sounds like a two-part story. Sure, the couple had a memorable Valentine’s Day after the Super Bowl, but after that? Well, Gronk was out there shining his teeth hard for the special day. However, one thing’s clear: after the retirement, Gronk is surely keeping busy with one thing or another.

It’s been two years since Gronk hung up his cleats for good. After dominating for nine seasons with the Patriots and two with the Bucs, he decided to retire from the NFL—well, sort of. He might not be catching passes anymore, but don’t think for a second he’s out of the game. Gronk’s still in the spotlight, just in a different role now, and trust me, his girlfriend finds it all pretty entertaining.

Camille Kostek explained the post-retirement life of Gronk who’s now a Fox reporter. “He’s stepped into this next chapter of his life, but he’s so busy with FOX. … I mean, the guy has a five-hour pregame show on Super Bowl Sunday. Halftime show. Postgame show. … We’re always doing something new. We’re always finding something to challenge us, we’re always keeping busy, but it’s fun. Running around, city to city, doing all of our things and getting to come together,” Kostek said.

However, despite being busy in their respective works, the couple always finds time to check on each other. And according to Camille, that’s one of the reasons behind their long-lasting relationship. “We read our calendars to each other,” she revealed last year. “We don’t spend every waking moment together, so it’s exciting for us to get on the phone. It’s a common thing weekly to get on the phone together when we’re in different states and put out our calendars.”

The two met back in 2013 for the first time when Camille was a cheerleader and Gronk was playing his third season for the Patriots and linked a couple of years later. The catch? Well, there was that rule where cheerleaders can’t date a player and guess what? Camille broke that rule and kept it a secret for a while. At the end of the day, all worked out well for the team, as they’re now completing a decade of their togetherness in 2025.
