On December 1, Randy Moss took a break from his analyst career to focus on his health. Fans and co-workers were worried. Though he had claimed that he would return from his health problem with the support of his family and friends. It’s getting emotional now for everyone, especially for his son Thaddeus.
The son is present in the hospital with his father, who is battling cancer. He shared an IG story that showed Moss in many covers, around 9. However, Thaddeus tried to lighten up the moment by announcing that “he would be going live on Instagram by @5pm eastern.” He also shared a photo of his father with the caption “5 pm” with two smiling emojis.
When the Vikings legend announced an ‘internal health issue’ on December 1, fans sensed that there was something serious that led him to take a break. It was true as Randy Moss started the IG live by saying, “I am a cancer survivor. Some trying times, but we made it through.” He also thanked ‘prayer warriors‘ for their support.

Walking with a cane, he revealed that he went through a Whipple procedure on Thanksgiving to put a stent on his liver after he experienced u—- discoloration. That was it. The former Vikings legend underwent surgery and has spent 6 days in the hospital. However, he was confident of a comeback.
The cancer was in the bile duct between his liver and pancreas. During the session, he tried to lift the spirits and even announced his goal of returning to the studio. The NFL legend added, “As soon as I get healthy to get back out with guys, I will be on set. Hopefully, I can be with you guys soon. My goal is to get back on television with my team.” That’s great.
While the fans are worried and praying for his health, the league has come behind him. Messages of support came from all sections of the football world.

One unique part of the IG live was his message about cancer recovery. His message to the world was on the t-shirts and beanie caps which had ‘Team Moss‘ and ‘We Got Moss‘ along with his face and the tagline ‘Let’s Moss Cancer.’ That’s inspiring. And the NFL legends filled the comment section with prayers and support for the former Vikings star.
The league commented from its official IG account, “We’re with you, Randy! #LetsMossCancer 💜” Former Jaguars legend Fred Taylor also showed his love for Randy Moss and wrote, “I’m still praying and spraying. These tears ain’t shit lol 😂 damn it’s good to see you in great spirits.”

Not only from the NFL, but Deion Sanders, the reputed college football coach also tweeted, “Praying for you and your family my brother” in support of the WR. Even the ESPN network shared an update about his cancer battle. Fans filled in the comment section with respect and support for the legend. It’s truly heartwarming. Everyone wants to see him back in normal life, enjoying and giving his take on the games.
