Maxx Crosby is a beast on the Raiders’ defensive line and strikes fear in quarterbacks with his relentless pass rush. Drafted late, he turned hard work into dominance, earning the moniker “Mad Maxx” and Pro Bowl honors. Known among fans for his energy on the field, Crosby’s leadership extends beyond the field which impresses everyone, including his coach, Antonio Pierce and the Raiders’ new owner, Tom Brady.
Although Brady’s deal is expected to be over by the end of the month, he is already a part of the set-up. His recent visit to the Raiders camp ignited a moment for Crosby, who narrated the incident on a podcast.

Crosby appeared on episode 6 of the podcast The Rush and discussed a never-heard-before story about Tom Brady. He narrated, “I said watch this and Brady… Tom Brady’s at practice. I’m like ‘Tom, hey watch what I do to him and it’s bro every time, every time, I’m like watch this s***. I said ‘All right AP watch this and Tom, I’m like Tom make sure you’re paying attention.’ Sack, sack, sack. Just burning just like get the f*** out of here. I watch. I said ‘Practice is over, the game’s over, and he just looked at me and just started smiling.”
Coach Antonio Pierce provoked the defender, a tactical move to bring out Crosby’s best during the practice. In response, Crosby made multiple sacks while asking Tom Brady to have a look. NFL Legend, Tom Brady reached an agreement with Raiders owner Mark Davis in May 2023 to own some stake in the Raiders franchise.

It came after Brady’s involvement with the Las Vegas Aces (a WNBA team also owned by Davis). There were initial delays over Brady’s involvement as multiple owners questioned the sale price offered to the NFL Legend. Since the NFL requires the involvement of three-fourths of owners, it affected the transaction.

However, the issue was resolved after Brady’s team offered an increased amount to match the market value of the Raiders. This paves the way for approval at the upcoming NFL meetings in late March. If everything goes as per the plan, Tom Brady’s ownership in the Las Vegas Raiders is expected to be officially approved by the NFL in March 2024.

As per the NFL site, Brady’s investment group will buy roughly 10% of the Raiders, with Brady owning around 7% of that investment. So, while Tom Brady isn’t officially a part-owner yet, things are on track for him to join the Las Vegas Raiders ownership group very soon.
